Karen De Vries
Karen is an analyst and consultant who at various times has worked for Persetel in South Africa, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Energis, both in the UK. Her clear analytic mind and organisation has lead directly to much of the documentation template standards we use today, and helped define approaches to understanding business requirements.
Ralph Kimball

His books on dimensional design techniques have become the all time best sellers in data warehousing: "The Data Warehouse Toolkit : Practical Techniques for Building Dimensional Data Warehouses " (Wiley, 1996), "The Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit : Expert Methods for Designing, Developing, and Deploying Data Warehouses" (Wiley 1998) e "The Data Webhouse Toolkit: Building the Web-Enabled Data Warehouse" (Wiley 2000).
